Summer Fashion Trends
This summer there are a number of different trends and what’s great is you can really pick and choose fashion and it suits all holidays. Whether you are looking for fashion to wear in the day or in the evening you can mix and match the latest trends to work with what you are doing. One of the best things about this summer’s fashion is that you can make it work for any occasion whether it’s a holiday, a festival or a city break, you can use all the current trends to work anything.
The big colours for this summer are pastels; pinks, purple, green, blues, yellows; they are all bang on-trend. Patterns are also a summer trend of 2014 so you can really bring out your fun side in your outfits. The 90s certainly have a fashion come back this summer too, so you might find yourself raiding your box of old clothes and bringing back from fashion from the past. Here are some of the fashion must have’s for 2020.
White – T-shirts, jeans, shorts, shirts; you name it, you should buy it in white because it is one of the biggest colours of the summer – great for showing off your tan.
Biker jackets – these are great for city breaks in the UK because like we all know too well it isn’t always hot during the summer for us. So teaming a coloured biker jacket over a dress, a top, shirt; will not only look great but also give you a little warmth.
Say it, wear it – slogans and words are a big trend of the summer, so if you are feeling ‘happy’ get that shirt that says it and wear it. Slogan pieces allow you to have some fun and show off your personality by letting your clothes do all the talking.
90’s Slip Dress – these are perfect for city breaks and beach holidays, easy to slip on and they will be nice and cool in the sun. They can be dressed up or down so you can so for day to night easily in this fashion.
Checks – the check pattern is one of the biggest of the summer, and matching check pieces are everywhere; you got in matching tops and trousers/skirts/shorts are the trend of 2020. It’s time to rock that matching patterned look and welcome back the 90s!
Lace and pastels – As already mentioned pastels are really the colour of the season, and lace pastels are really in fashion. This is a super girlie and lady-like fashion so you can feel super feminine by teaming this fashion together.
Skorts – This is one of the number one fashion of the summer, what is it? It’s a short that looks like a skirt, and they pretty much come in every colour and pattern, so you will probably end up buying a few different ones. This is another 90s come back;
Full skirts – A-line style full skirts are back, team them with a blouse or a crop top and you will be rocking another girlie fashion of the summer. Full skirts are flattering on everyone and they can be teamed with flats or heels making them the perfect day or night outfit.
Sports chic –
The whole sport girl look has been big for a while; teaming trainers with dresses or jeans is a fashion that is going to continue through the summer, so if you are on a city break you can team a cute outfit with some comfy trainers so your feet won’t be sore from all that tourist action you have planned
